Outer Wildcards is a Texture Pack for Balatro, themed around Outer Wilds

IMPORTANT: Outer Wilds is an extremely spoiler sensitive game, so if you have not played it, I encourage you to give it a try before engaging with this pack. These cards contain spoilers for both the base game and DLC.
That being said:

This pack comes in 2 versions:

• The Full version, which contains all the available changes
• A Reduced version, which aims to be less intrusive and focus more centrally on planet cards.

This project is currently in early access, which means only the reduced version is available. I will update the page whenever the full version is done ::)

- CHANGES -

The following changes are included in both the Reduced and the Full version

• Each planet card (including black hole) has been changed to an astral body from Outer Wilds
• The Celestial Packs have been changed to feature art of the Travellers
• Custom Outer Wilds club face cards have been added

The changes exclusive to the full version will be confirmed on release, but may include:

• Several Joker resprites
• Celestial Packs renamed to Wilderness Packs
• Several other planet related features being slightly altered

- INSTALLATION -

This pack requires Steamodded, but if you don't want to install that, an EXE installation is also available (with a bit of work required)

1. If you have not already, install Steamodded
2. Extract your OuterWildcards.zip
3. Move the directory inside into your Mods folder [%appdata%/Balatro/Mods]

All art in this pack was created by me using Aseprite

I'd also like to shoutout NataKilar for making Balatro Wilds, a very similar project. It didn't inspire my project, since I didn't know it existed until someone on reddit told me about it, but it still feels fitting to include them ::). I also stole the legal sentence at the bottom of this About from them, because I haven't read the Mobius Digital Fan Content Policy and I don't want to.
